Transportation of containers<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/header>

Inland transportation of sea containers is one of main activities of our company. We have an extensive fleet which can handle transportation and delivery of sea containers of any size, type and weight ((20\u2018, 20\u2019OT, 20\u2018RF, 20\u2018TC, 23`TC, 30\u2018, 30\u2018TC, 40\u2018DV, 40\u2018OT, 40\u2018HC, 40\u2018HCPW, 40\u2018CS, 40\u2018HCRF, 45\u2018, 45\u2018CS, 45\u2018RF and other). The company also has trucks intended for transportation of heavier containers. In addition to cargo transportation our employees will also prepare all necessary customs documents, permissions, declarations and licences (Carnet TIR, transit declarations, EX A, CO A, T2L and other).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

We ship containers to \/ from Baltic countries and other European Union countries and their ports. We also ship sea containers by land to and from countries like Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries. We also transport cargo containers within Latvian borders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Our company ships standard general goods (general\/harmless goods), which are transported on European and Finnish pallets, and containers with dangerous (ADR) goods and containers with veterinary goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Costs<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Costs of inland transportation of sea containers mainly depend on origin and destination of cargo, fuel consumed, road taxes, permissions, amortisation and the type of goods being transported. If these are general goods, costs will be lower than for transportation of dangerous or veterinary goods, because the time for preparation of documents, permissions and settlement of other formalities will be shorter.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

If dangerous (ADR) goods or veterinary goods are transported, shipping costs may increase, because transit time and border crossing is longer. In addition, different permissions, licences should be prepared, the driver should have an ADR certificate and the truck should be equipped for transportation of ADR goods, the process of preparation of documents and settling other formalities is more complicated and longer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consolidated and full cargo is mainly carried to and from Italy, Spain, France and Portugal, as well as other countries of the European Union.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Difference between full and consolidated cargo<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Full cargo usually occupies 80 m\u00b3 to 92 m\u00b3 of the tent. Consolidated cargo consists of goods of several customers, which are transported in one transport unit, and where destinations are optimally close to each other. This allows to reduce customer\u2019s costs, if the volume of cargo does not exceed 80m\u00b3.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Content of tents<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Our company ships standard general goods (general\/harmless goods), which are transported on European (EPAL) and Finnish pallets, and tents with dangerous (ADR) goods and containers with veterinary goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Costs of cargo transportation mainly depend on distance to be covered, origin and destination of cargo, fuel consumed, road taxes and permission, and the type of goods being transported. If the cargo volume does not exceed 80 m\u00b3, it is better to order LTL or consolidated cargo, which means that your cargo will be put together with cargo of other customers in one tent, and the shipping time will be longer, but costs will be lower.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

If cargo occupies 80m\u00b3 to 92 m\u00b3, then it is better and cheaper to order a full tent, which means that the tent will carry only your cargo, the shipping time will be shorter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Transportation of veterinary goods<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/header>

Our company transports veterinary goods in containers and tents. IGAU\u0145I has received a FVS authorisation for transportation of by-products (food, products of animal and plant origin).*<\/strong><\/span> We will prepare all necessary documents (common veterinary entry document for animal products (CVED), common entry document (CED), etc.) and will settle all other formalities to deliv<\/span>er your cargo to the destination on time and without errors.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Express cargo transportation \ud83d\ude80<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/header>

Unlike other cargo transporters, IGAU\u0145I offers its customers the possibility to use faster cargo transportation services. Express cargo transportation means that one truck carrying cargo in a sea container or a tent has two drivers instead of one allowing to deliver the cargo to the destination twice faster. For example, if cargo needs to be delivered from Madrid to Riga, then this shipment usually lasts about 6 days, however, if you use our express transportation with two drivers, the duration of the shipment will be twice shorter, i.e. 3 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
